Magnum White Almond's Prize

I won all exclusive collections launched under promotional campaign from "Magnum White Almond & 5 Prominent Indonesian Designers."

Yay!!

I finally had my gain from every ten points I collected from dozens of ice cream stick labelled with a present icon and a "find out your gift" sentence engraved on it. 

I searched and bought almost all of Magnum's White Almond from quite numbers of convenient store at nearby area just to look for a ten-digit serial number from the stick.

However, there was about 25 percent of all Magnum's White Almond ice cream pieces I bought had no stick numbers. A word of giving up after a disappointment was last only few days before I continued to buy Magnum's White Almond again.  

I shared the delight of the ice cream with my family members because consuming two pieces everyday was quite unbearable.

"Launched in 1989, Magnum was the first handheld ice cream targeted as a premium ice cream for adults," said a statement from the official website of Magnum's USA.

"Magnum gourmet ice cream bars are made from the finest ingredients---silky ice cream and thick Belgian chocolate," added the statement intended "for pleasure seekers." 

The first of 40 points collected was for a sweatshirt by Tex Saverio. The unisex sweatshirt, "Winter" as he called, itself is meant for an edgy character wishing to look out-of-the-same. Jakarta born fashion designer Saverio - also described as the Alexander McQueen of Indonesia - presented a dynamic geometric yet glamorous motive in his design to hint a very unique and characterized look.  

Sweatshirt (sewn) is made with sweatshirt fleece, a heavy fabric finished on one side and has a soft, fluffy nap on the other. The garment is designed to be worn with the finished side out and the napped side close to the skin. Edgy look means turning on the edge of what was socially acceptable in dressing. Obtaining 5-cm diameter black lenses with metal fishing silver rhodium frame sun glasses I simply exchanged 50 points. A handmade detailed accent beautify sunglasses frame.  

Rinaldy A. Yunardi, accessories designer upholding an infusion of sophisticated, glamorous yet having distinctive soul in his designing philosophy, together with Magnum White Almond present these unique "Sky" sunglasses, an impressive  finishing touch for daily lifestyle, intended  to please an expressive and adventurous pleasure seeker.

I wished to have the purple lenses instead of black lenses but the prize was not fully I could choose.  

I got a Sapto Djojokartiko's scarf by trading 60 points. The centimeter measurement of 90 x 90 cream off white chiffon crepe scarf was presented for the stylish-and-creative pleasure seeker to beautify her daily look. Solo's fashion designer notable of Javanese-folktales-inspired sketches, Djojokartiko, shared his exclusive printed motive for the white collection promo with the name of "Dream."

Priyo Oktaviano whose collection was once inspired by Javanese royal tradition and Chinese action movies in the twenties or Shanghai Tan, contributed his mind to present an off-white lace brocade clutch with dimension of 30 cm by 16 cm. 

My eighty points were the price I paid to have the clutch whose name was "Fairy."  

"This beautiful clutch is presented for pleasure seekers who have feminine and romantic personalities," said the official website. Magnum White also explained that design's details and lace brocade fabric vibrate a touch of couture for the actually practical item thanks to its roomy design.

From all proposed gifts, I believe that people participating with this promo have been waiting long for the "Short Dress" by Sebastian (Gunawan) Red and "Dress" elegantly designed and presented by the same person. 

Sebastian Gunawan, an Indonesian high-fashion designer recognized by the Asian Couture Federation as an 'Asian Couturier Extraordinaire' described by wikipedia, concentrates his works in mainstream beauty of a woman interpreted in glamorous gowns and dresses with the touch of European means of elegance. 

In this occasion, Seba shares his sense of beauty in fashion to interpret Magnum's White Almond elements among others "almond, creamy, soft, sweet, crunchy and Elegant" into two dresses under Magnum White Collection.

He named his collection with "Innocence."

"Short Dress" intended for an elegant fashionista having an A-line silhouette made by soft satin-dull fabric combined with sweet flower-motive brocade where rich embellishment details present a strong bound between Magnum and Sebastian Red.

While the white "Dress" is executed with damask textile to create a combination of a blouse, ornamented by golden Swarovski crystal in the front and both arms, and a skirt. The dress emerges an atmosphere of creamy ice cream coated with Belgian white chocolate. 

A fashionista with young and dynamic lifestyle enjoys this collection.

The "sale" opened on October 5th at 00:00 Jakarta Time and will be last until the 14th for both "Short Dress" and "Dress". 

Surprisingly, "Short Dress" was out of stock in less than ten minutes after the trading opened! The white "dress" followed to be sold out 12 minutes later after midnight.

Thanks to android phone connected with internet, I could access the website for trading the 200 points for two items after fighting with my sleepy eyes and weary body.

Dear, we must struggle and be ready for any sacrifice to have all things we desire, life is indeed full of competition.    

All designs fit to Magnum White's description, surely I respect the designers' creation though the execution for the product were cheap, almost disappointing. Complaining is unacceptable compared with how this ice cream product worth less than one dollar per piece.    

Overall, it was fun and now what's left for me is the elegant high heels!

and a ten-kilo drop of weight :D
